The Touch Cruise, which is powered by a 400MHz CPU and based the Qualcomm 7200 chip set, and is due to become available later this month as an unlocked device in Europe, features 128MB of internal memory (which can be supplemented with Micro SD cards), a 2.8” 240 x 320 resolution touchscreen, a 3 megapixel rear mounted camera supplemented by a smaller, front mounted camera for video calling, 3.6Mb/s 3G HSDPA connectivity and integral Wi-Fi.
Details at the time of writing are fairly scant, with unit pricing and full specifications presently unavailable, though we can only hope that this latest offering from HTC (this is their third touchscreen smart phone) receives a somewhat warmer welcome than their previous models which, though we have no first hand experience, failed to impress many reviewers.
Rest assured that we’ll post further details concerning HTC’s up and coming Touch Cruise the moment they become available.
