modmyGphone has posted image of upcoming Lenovo touchscreen phone that will be based on Google Android platform. If the images are true, this is the first decent looking Android phone. The front of the device is all touchscreen with touch-buttons for calling, ending call and menu. The phone looks inspired by the iPhone and there are no visible signs that it will have a slide-out keyboard. The phone is developed along with China Mobile and it will be based on China Mobile’s custom version of Android OS known as Open Mobile System. The phone will work on China’s native TD-SCDMA standard for 3G data service. The last piece of information about TD-SCDMA makes it highly unlikely that we will this phone in US or Europe. But we hope that against all odds Lenovo would decide to launch this sexy phone with HSDPA standard for other countries.
