I was surfing the web and found an interesting website www.MyOtherDrive.com. The front page looks a little like photobucket but it is still a nice looking online photo sharing website. What I liked about it is that MyOtherDrive offers secure online storage and it can hold more than just photos. You can store media files, it is also an mp3 and video storage site.You only get 10GB of bandwidth per month using the free service, which is less than at photobucket, but still a lot. Those who need more online storage space can easily upgrade to get 25GB, 75GB or 200GB with "unmetered" bandwidth. Plans start at $20 and go all the way up to $100.
I also discovered that one can share files and protect them with free online backup , which is important for me.
So, with MyOtherDrive you get 3 or even 4 services in one: free image hosting, video and mp3 storage, easy private file sharing and, to crown it all, free online backup to protect all your files. The website is user-friendly with how-to guides to walk you through the whole process of uploading or sharing your files.
