Some online tools just tells you which are your favorite articles in your blog by tracking how many times a particular page is being visited and rank them according to the number of pageviews.
Today, I would like to introduce you a Web-based tool called PostRank which tells you which posts in your feeds are popular by scoring them on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the number of pageviews, comments, bookmarks saved on Del.ico.us, diggs, tweets mentioning the items, Google trackbacks, etc.
By punching in your feed URL, PostRank collects your feeds, prioritize and filters them to reduce the quantity of items a reader is presented. By default, the results shown are ranked according to your recents posts.
You can even download the PostRank Firefox extension which enables you to easily customize your RSS, discover top posts, preview PostRank score and easily mange and update your subscriptions.
Founded in 2007, PostRank is developed by AideRSS and based Waterloo, Canada. PostRank filtering process is indeed a great way to measure social engagement online.
